New Valley Kids

Children's Ministry at New Valley Church

We believe children are a vital part of our ministry and community and that the life-long journey of faith begins and ends with the gospel. This means that children can comprehend the good news about Jesus' life, death, and resurrection (and ... consequently ... it is impossible for adults to ever "graduate" from that truth into something greater or deeper).

We therefore build our children's ministry the same way we do our adult ministries ... centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ, and with his mission to the world as the central command. We are proud to use a curriculum that strives to do exactly this. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered Bible Study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events - presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.

Children ranging in age from birth through age 6 are welcome to participate in New Valley's Kid's Ministry.  New Valley Downtown offers childcare for infants (ages 0-3) and a class for young children (ages 3-6). We also offer a Catechism Class, based on New City Catechism, for children ages 7-10 to attend during the sermon.

What To Expect

Lessons that bring Bible stories to life, songs, and hands-on activities designed to teach children about God's amazing love as seen in the life, death, and resurrection of His son, Jesus, and how to know and walk with him personally.
